Dessert #1: Gluten-Free Vegan AÇAÍ Berry Pie

Pie can be notoriously non-vegan. We’ve got you covered with our Açaí berry pie! 

What You'll Need:

  • 1 Gluten Free Pie Crust

 For the Filling:

Optional:

  • Ground ginger
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of vanilla

For the Crumble Topping:

  • 1 - 2 cup Gluten Free Oats
  • 1 Cup Organic Brown Sugar OR 1/2 Cup Agave
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup melted Coconut Oil
  • Dash of Sea Salt
  • Dash Cinnamon
  • Optional: Small Handful Chopped Nuts or Seeds

How to Make It: Preheat the oven to 350° F.

To Make Filling: In a blender, combine SAMBAZON frozen Acai Superfruit Packs (melted), frozen mixed berries and optional ginger or cinnamon. Blend until smooth and combined. In a bowl, add the rest of the berries and then add your blended mixture. Stir to combine. Pour mixture into your pie crust, evenly smooth out the mixture.

Over the top, evenly distribute small dollops of coconut oil. Top with crumble mixture.

To Make Crumble: In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Make sure all oats are covered. Scoop atop pie filling, gently pat down. Bake 350° F for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving

Dessert #2: Raw Vegan AÇAÍ Brownies Snack Treat

Brownies are a classic dessert loved by all. Enjoy these easy brownies at home!

What You'll Need:

For the Topping:
  • 2 Tbsp Melted Coconut Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 SAMBAZON Original Blend Açai Superfruit Pack

How to Make It: Combine SAMBAZON Açai packs, dates, walnuts, cacao, vanilla, and salt in a food processor. Process until smooth. scraping down sides as needed. Lightly grease an 8 x 8 baking pan with coconut oil or use parchment paper. Transfer dough to the pan and press firmly until evenly distributed. Put in the fridge for at least two hours.

For Topping: In a food processor, quickly pulse raw cashews, maple, Açaí and coconut oil. Add a pinch of salt if you'd like and a handful of frozen mixed berries. Once the brownies harden up in the fridge for about two hours, top with frosting and put back in the fridge for another hour or two. Cut and serve.
